Cristo en La Purisima
This image is from outside of La Purisima, a church in Monterrey. The church was built in the 40s and with a good deal of controversy for the modern design of the art that adorns it (article in Spanish). I may add a few more pictures of it this week. The outside of the church, it’s grounds, and the park in front of it are very-well kept. If only the same were true for the artwork.
The composition and colors in this shot are *so* good. The greens and purples on the statue with the yellows of the wall behind it. A very cool color scheme if you ask me.
