Chaos
It’s like a “where’s Wally/Waldo/Walter” for Eden. Can you find each character? Good job! (close up of a sculpture in the Museo del Ojo in Garcia, Nuevo, Leon – about 30 minutes from Monterrey)
And the buses just keep on coming
Downtown Monterrey. Yes, the city is filled with buses. Just stay out of their way…
Villa de Santiago, Nuevo Leon
Last weekend I took this photo of the church in Villa de Santiago, a little community about 30 minutes from where I live. In 2006 it was named a “pueblo mágico” (magic town) in recognition of its historic preservation.
Climbing
In case you are wondering why the site is called “Kevin Lare – mostly photos”, it’s because the site (not me) is “mostly photos”, as in – “it’s a blog, but mostly photos” (which then of course makes it a photoblog). By the way, this week I was listed in the current showcase of top [...]
The thought was good while it lasted
Trashed flowers found in Villa de Santiago, Nuevo León. No colors were altered; the trash cans there are indeed this color of toxic-glow-green. It looks like they still have some life in them. What motivated someone to toss them before their time? Hmmm… (and is it just me, or does this look almost painfully bright [...]
Telling time
Today’s image is of a sundial located in the Macroplaza here in Monterrey. We discovered someone forgot to tell the sun to change it’s watch for Daylight Savings Time.
It all adds up
The Museo Metropolitano de Monterrey is one of the few museums here that let you take photos of the exhibitions. This is an image I shot on Saturday of an adding machine that is displayed with other office equipment from the turn of the century (and I am not referring to Y2K).
Listening to the Ocean
Last night I took a few shots while some folks were over at the house. Here’s a photo of my friend Marycruz. Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend!
Atop the slide
A shot of Abraham (member of the previously mentioned fish escape prevention team) on the playground observing skateboarders in the distance.
Los Angeles de La Purisima
Three angels mounted on the side of La Purisima in downtown Monterrey. As I mentioned in a previous post, additional info on La Purisima can found in Wikepedia.
