On Sunday afternoon we came across these four just hanging out at the top of a mausoleum in downtown Monterrey.

This shot is from a cemetery (Panteón Dolores – which is literally translated as the pain cemetery) in Monterrey. Many of the statues, mausoleums, and tributes to the deceased are breathtaking.

Yes, his name is Jefferson. His owner (Abraham – age 7) was worried that the camera would startle him and cause him to jump out of his bowl and onto the glass table. Luckily we did not encounter that level of fish hysterics (I did not know they were so sensitive to the paparazzi).

With pirated DVDs cutting into her royalty checks, the years have not been kind to Ariel. It looks like she is working as a showgirl to supplement her income. Seriously, this is just another shot of what I found on the street one Sunday morning while walking through downtown Monterrey.
