Climbing up, way up

Stairs outside of Horno 3 – a former foundry oven which now serves as a museum in Monterrey’s Parque Fundidora.

On a side note: In case some are wondering why I have not posted to the photoblog for awhile – I have been in the midst of moving, or better said, relocating. The big time-consuming challenge has been that I am not just changing houses, or cities, but countries with a move back to the US after spending several years in Mexico. And with my love for warmer climates (or more like overwhelming desire to avoid cold winters), I have chosen to make Southern California my home. More photos soon!!!!

Barriers

The spiral in el Paseo de Santa Lucia and el Cerro de la Silla as seen from a walkway leading to Parque Fundidora.

First set of photos from Parque Fundidora

After living in Monterrey for 4 years, I finally took my camera to Parque Fundidora. It’s an old steel mill that now serves as a large public park.

2501 Migrantes

Writing from Monterrey, Mexico.

The photo is from a series I took of the installation of Alejandro Santiago’s 2501 Migrantes during its exhibition in Paseo de Santa Lucia.

I’ve posted additional photos here.
